Arboriculture Photography at Huerto de Elche
“Rose, as induce, the stately trees, and spread
Their branches, hung with copious fruit, or gummed
Their blossoms: with high woods the hills were crowned,
With tufts the valleys, and each fountain side,
With borders long the rivers: that earth now
Seemed like to heaven, a seat where gods might dwell,
Or wander with delight, and love to haunt
Her sacred shades”.
Milton
Arboriculture:
Arboriculture is a science that teaches how great are the influences which forests or trees exert upon a community; not only from the economic uses for which wood is adapted for man´s benefit, but in their far-reaching effect upon clime and thus on the welfare and permanence of nations and people. Arboriculture is full of interest and is of vast importance to mankind. Forestry, as usually understood, pertains to the management of forests. Arboriculture comprises forestry and also includes every subject relating to the growth of trees and their influences.
