Plants Architecture and Botanical Photography

Plants architecture through botanical photography is an attempt to explain how design and architecture have adopted plants and flowers structures in creating conceptual values in the history of architecture and design.

One excellent example can be found in the excellent post Antoni Gaudi the Architect of Nature  part 2 where you can find how plants and floral architecture where imbued in the construction and design of many of his architectonic works, above all La Sagrada Familia.

Durability concepts, tensile strength, decoration and design in the corinthians columns, complex structure in the works of Calatrava all are examples of how the architecture of plants relate urban application. In this post and in the one titled Botanical photography and the Architecture of plants I explained through botanical photography what is all about.
