Show Gardens at Chelsea Flower Show The B&Q Garden

From today onwards I will publish a photo essay about each of the Show Gardens at the 2011 Chelsea Flower Show. Here is the first post: The B&Q Garden.

The B&Q Garden info:

The Designers of the B&Q Garden Laurie Chetwood and Patrick Collins have brought to this year Chelsea Flower Show the tallest ever green. The idea behind the design is to plant and produce food wherever we can.

B&Q garden is an invitation to communities and individuals to develop sustainable food growing spaces in urban areas. In order to facilitate the use of space in urban areas B&Q Garden has develop the vertical Polanter with a water system integrated. The B&Q garden is, definitely, an edible self sufficient garden.
